Is Shobukan free?

Yes. Every mode and all 18 manga universes are free to play, with ads. The optional Premium subscription (€10 per month or €90 per year, prices in France) removes ads and makes online hosting unlimited.

How many players can play?

From 1 to 12 depending on the mode: Otaku Quiz is played solo or with up to 12 players, Undercover with 3 to 8. Anime Grid and Story Mode are solo.

Can you play offline?

Yes, in local mode: the phone is passed around and the game works without a connection. Online games, Anime Grid and leaderboards need internet.

Can you play remotely with friends?

Yes, both Undercover and the quiz. Create an online game and share the 6-character code or the invite link: everyone plays on their own phone.

Which manga are in the game?
