1. Acceptance of the Terms

Using Shobukan implies full acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the app.

2. Service description

Shobukan is a mobile app of manga-themed social mini-games, played in groups (in person or remotely). The base version is free and ad-supported. A Premium subscription removes ads for the whole group, unlocks unlimited hosting, and includes one creator credit. Each pack created after that consumes a separately purchased credit. Story Mode (Expedition) also offers optional card packs and life refills. See section 5.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app fairly and not to:

• Use it for unlawful, discriminatory or offensive purposes
• Disrupt the proper operation of the service or other players
• Attempt to bypass security mechanisms (RLS, anti-cheat, purchases)
• Use offensive, misleading or impersonating nicknames
• Publish, in your custom packs, content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual or infringing copyright

4. User-generated content (custom packs)

The packs you create remain your intellectual property. By creating them you warrant that you hold the rights to the content. We reserve the right to remove any pack reported or detected as illegal, hateful, sexual or contrary to the Terms, without notice. Your packs are private by default; you may choose to publish them, after which they become visible and playable by the community.

5. Purchases (Premium, creator credits and Story Mode)

Purchases are made via the App Store (Apple) or Google Play.

• Annual Premium: €90/year, automatically renewing unless cancelled.
• Monthly Premium: €10/month, automatically renewing unless cancelled.
• Creator credit: one-off consumable purchase (1 credit = 1 created pack), including after the included Premium credit has been used.
• Story Mode (Expedition) card packs: one-time non-consumable purchases that unlock a set of cards, with a Ryō bonus, with lifetime access. Every card can also be earned for free by playing.
• Story Mode life refill: one-off consumable purchase that fills up your lives. Lives also refill for free over time or by watching an ad, and are unlimited with Premium.
• Ryō: the game's virtual currency, earned by playing or included with some packs. It has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, resold or converted into real money.
• Prices: shown clearly in the app before purchase.
• Billing and cancellation: handled by Apple / Google via your account.
• Restore: "Restore purchases" in the app if you change device or reinstall (Premium and card packs; credits and life refills already used are not restored).
• Refunds: handled by Apple / Google — contact their support for any request.

6. Account and Apple / Google linking

You can use Shobukan anonymously (default) or link your account with Sign in with Apple or Google. Linking lets you recover your Premium status, stats and packs on another device. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → "Delete my account".

7. Service availability

The publisher strives to keep the service available but cannot guarantee permanent, uninterrupted availability. Maintenance or technical interruptions may occur without notice. Premium access remains available while the subscription is active, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service availability.

8. Intellectual property

All components of the Shobukan app (code, design, editorial content, sounds, icons, logo) are the exclusive property of the publisher and are protected by French and international intellectual property laws. References to manga universes are used for cultural and citation purposes, without intent to infringe rights holders.

9. Limitation of liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from a service interruption, loss of game data, a network issue or a third-party platform failure (Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat). Use of the app is under the user's full responsibility.

10. Changes to the Terms

The publisher reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. In case of a substantial change, the new version will be shown at app launch and you will have to accept it.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute regarding their interpretation or performance will be submitted to the competent courts of the publisher's registered office.
